Kayleigh Willis
Colored Pencil Artist

I'm Kayleigh Willis — a fine art colored pencil artist based in Washington, DC, drawing animals with the kind of detail that stops people in their tracks. I work a day job, but I constantly find myself drawing any other time.
I grew up in Virginia Beach and have spent my career drawing the creatures most people walk past without a second look: octopuses moving through kelp, sea turtles gliding in open water, birds in full color, reptiles with every scale rendered true.
My originals are drawn on cold pressed mixed media paper then mounted onto wood panels, coated with a clear acrylic, UV protectant, and textured resin accents — each piece finished and ready to hang the day it arrives. My prints are limited edition Giclée prints run of 50 on Moab Natural White paper.
